Jane E. Cowley

Jane Cowley, originally from the Silver Valley in North Idaho, graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2002 with a Juris Doctorate and from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 2001 with a Masters in Social Work. She was admitted to the practice of law before the Montana State and Federal District Courts, and the Montana Supreme Court in 2002. She has over fifteen years of practice experience representing clients throughout western Montana.

Ms. Cowley has a special emphasis in family law, with additional areas of emphasis around real estate litigation and general business matters. Her work includes direct representation, as well as settlement and mediation services.

Ms. Cowley is rated "Distinguished" by Martindale-Hubbell's peer-reviewed rating service. She was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2016 edition of "The Best Lawyers in America" Women in the Law and in the 2017 edition for her practice in Family Law.

She enjoys spending time on the ice playing hockey and skiing with her family.
